MEET ALAN

As a dedicated husband, father and educator, Alan Lehman is a man guided by his faith and his friendships as a member of Champion Fellowship. As a principled conservative, he has spent decades mentoring young people at Blinn College, teaching history and government lessons to thousands of young people so they can appreciate our Constitutional Republic and achieve their goals and dreams. Now he wants to apply those skills to our Brenham City Council, where he can help forge a future that preserves our hometown heritage while listening and working together with all citizens.

Alan grew up in Brenham as the son and grandson of small business owners, watching them work to build a good life and family in our city. Early on, he learned local values of honesty and integrity that have made Brenham a special place that attracts so many visitors, residents, and businesses. As a boy, his first jobs were mowing yards and painting dormitories. He then went on to join the local HEB, where he rose to the rank of manager while still in high school. After graduation from Brenham High School in the top quarter of his class, he went on to graduate from Texas A&M (Class of 1990) before then receiving his master's degree at Sam Houston State University.

Alan met his wife of 32 years, Donna, while he was attending Blinn, and they have been blessed with three children, Michael, Faith, and Sam, all honor graduates of Brenham ISD. As a lifelong resident of this city, Alan has seen the best of Brenham, and now he wants to give back. He is asking for your vote so he can help our city grow in a positive way that benefits all citizens but also respects every taxpayer.
